holy shit
i was able to read from the amp, but i got so distracted by higher level stuff for the simplicity of making the gui app, that i didnt even get to write and send any data to the amp itself.
i regret.
i have some sort of middle ground, but not fully so the todo item can be a half circle, from the HID layer to the higher layer, where i can control the amp.
the only thing i was able to get done tonight was the ability to change what preset im on based on index, which is how the protobuf's do it.
I might add another function for the amp struct to be able to load presets by their higher level structs, rather than index, for ease of use.
future stuff
i am so fucking ready to make the gui for this app, and get it published. but there is a couple of stuff that I need to do in order for me to have a good time.
i need to (possibly make another thread for this but i reallly dont want to) have constant sync with the amp and guit2, just in case there is some physical setting change with the amp that guit2 needs to check and keep up with.
my view
sofar, this is a good project, and maybe one of the more longer contiuning projects that i have done over, what, maybe 6 years? last project i remember doing was my unblocked games site, that i made on a school-issued chromebook with Caret as my text editor, and w3schools as my web hosting.
the only thing stopping me from having a full blown game site without extreme iframes at the time was the fact that i couldnt figure out how to locally (to the server i mean) have flash files for the website, which sucked.
ngl i was pulling maybe 10-20 users of my website daily at the time, so i was proud of my self.
